Feeding Recommendations

Horses

Feed at 1.5–2.5% of body weight per day. Orchard grass's palatability makes it an easy transition for horses, and the MAG format makes large-scale feeding economical. Works well as a primary forage or blended with alfalfa for added protein.

Goats & Livestock

Orchard grass's moderate protein and high palatability make it an excellent choice for goat and sheep operations requiring a grass hay alternative to alfalfa.

Cattle

Provides quality roughage for beef and dairy cattle operations.

Highly Palatable: Orchard grass is accepted readily across animal types, reducing waste and improving feed efficiency.

Commercial Format: 850 lb MAG bale designed for fork truck handling and high-volume bulk storage.

Cost-Efficient: Double-compression reduces shipping and storage costs per ton of forage.
