Feeding Recommendations

Horses

Feed at 1.5–2.5% of body weight per day. Orchard grass is highly palatable and suitable as a primary or supplemental forage for most horses. Works well blended with alfalfa for horses needing additional protein.

Cattle & Livestock

Provides good-quality roughage for cattle, goats, and sheep at maintenance and production levels.

Small Animals

Readily accepted by rabbits and guinea pigs. Soft texture and aromatic profile are particularly appealing.

Exceptional Palatability: Orchard grass is among the most palatable grass hays available, ensuring consistent intake across diverse animal types.

Versatile Nutrition: At 11% protein and 35% fiber, it bridges the gap between high-energy alfalfa and lighter grass hays like Timothy.

Full-Scale Bale: 90 lb 3-tie format for efficient, high-volume feeding.
