Anderson Beet Pulp Pellets

Anderson® Beet Pulp Pellets are a fiber-rich, low-sugar forage alternative made from dried sugar beet pulp. High in digestible fiber and low in non-structural carbohydrates, beet pulp has long been valued as a digestive aid and hydration supplement — especially when soaked. Ideal for horses requiring caloric fiber without added starch or sugar.

Feeding Recommendations

Horses

Soak in water for 30–60 minutes before feeding to allow full expansion and maximize digestive benefits. Soaked beet pulp is an excellent way to increase water intake in horses prone to dehydration or impaction colic. Feed 0.5–1 lb dry weight per feeding and adjust based on body condition and energy needs.

Cattle, Goats & Sheep

Can be incorporated as a supplemental fiber source in mixed rations.

High Digestible Fiber: Beet pulp's soluble fiber is rapidly fermented in the hindgut, supporting digestive health and delivering steady energy.

Low NSC: A safe energy source for horses with metabolic conditions, providing calories without the sugar and starch load of grain.

Hydration Support: When soaked, beet pulp absorbs several times its dry weight in water, contributing meaningfully to daily water intake.
