Feeding Recommendations

Horses

Feed at 1.5–2.5% of body weight per day. Alfalfa's high protein and calcium content makes it well suited for performance horses, lactating mares, and growing animals. Introduce gradually when transitioning from grass hay.

Cattle & Livestock

An excellent supplemental forage for cattle and small ruminants needing added protein and energy alongside their primary roughage.

Rabbits

Offer sparingly as a high-protein supplement alongside grass hay due to alfalfa's elevated calcium content.

High Protein: At 17% protein, alfalfa supports muscle development, milk production, and energy demands in performance animals.

Space-Efficient: Double-compressed to 50 lb for easier handling and storage compared to traditional 90 lb bales.

Premium Sourcing: Grown and harvested to Anderson's strict quality standards for consistent nutrient density and palatability.
